Casper's Truck Equipment

Casper's Truck Equipment was founded by Dan Casper. Dan grew up in the truck equipment business working early in his career with his father at Casper's Mobile Services. Later Dan developed his skills working with other truck equipment distributors in the Green Bay area. Dan recognized the need for experienced and qualified truck fabricators who were knowledgeable about truck equipment while being extremely focused on providing customers with timely and affordable solutions for their work truck needs. In 1993, Dan Casper, Randy Johnson and Dennis Fiet partnered to incorporate TEAM Wisconsin. 1995 Marked Dennis selling stock to Dan for the start of TEAM - Cedar Falls, Inc.. In 1996 TEAM - Kaukauna, Inc. moved to 870 Eastline Road in Kaukauna and hired Jason Sagorac, Super Salesman. That’s when things turned around for Dan and the company really began to grow. In 1998 Dan purchased all of the stock from Randy and re-named the company Casper’s Truck Equipment, Inc.

In 2000, Casper's Truck Equipment expanded its service capabilities and moved into a shop in nearby Appleton (Little Chute). The Company quickly upgraded the new home by a significant addition to its facility when the shop was expanded to 19 service bays. Trained and experienced Casper Craftsman, a significant "on hand" inventory and employees focused on exceeding the customer's expectation for quality and service have combined to make Casper's Truck Equipment one of the leading providers of truck equipment solutions in Wisconsin.

The Company has developed several major areas of emphasis. Commercial customers include major trucking companies, general contractors, landscapers, snow & ice maintenance professionals and any work truck owner with a job to get done. Municipal customers include fleet maintenance professionals from the state, county, town and cities throughout Wisconsin and Michigan. Casper's builds municipal trucks to meet the simplest or most complex needs of our municipal customers in order to keep our public roadways maintained and safe.

In 2007, Gene and Christine Lee purchased Casper's Truck Equipment and allowed Dan to transition into a much deserved retirement. Gene's background includes many (he says "too many") years of senior executive experience in the transportation, automotive and construction equipment dealership fields. Chris's background is in the area of financial services. Chris doesn't say how many years but does note that she is younger than Gene. The Lees recognized the experience and commitment of the Casper team and have further positioned the organization for growth through a commitment to employees and a continued focus on customer service.

The Company's reputation for excellent service provided a basis for growth and allowed partnerships with some of the premier truck equipment manufacturers in North America. For instance, the Company was one of the first to represent Bibeau dump bodies in Wisconsin and continues to be one of the top performers in the Bibeau distribution network. The Company has represented Knapheide since 2001 and has achieved membership to Knapheide's elite "1848 Club" for seven consecutive years. They were named Pro Tech's Rookie of the Year in 2007. These and numerous other achievements have allowed Casper's Truck Equipment to be recognized as a leading truck equipment house by customers and manufacturers alike.

The Company continues its industry commitment through memberships in NTEA (National Truck Equipment Association), SIMA (Snow and Ice Management Association) and other affiliations which will promote the knowledge and innovation of the industry, Casper's Truck Equipment and their employees.
