Conestoga 2™ is the newest generation of tarping system from Aero Industries. Named for the covered wagons of early pioneers, Aero's original Conestoga featured an innovative rolling tarp that covers and uncovers a flatbed trailer in seconds. Now Conestoga 2 adds many new features to improve this unique system and give you more options.

Aero Industries has designed a rolling tarp system that provides security and protection for loads best carried on a flatbed trailer. Instead of climbing over the trailer and tying down a tarp, the Conestoga 2 allows drivers to cover and uncover their loads in seconds as they walk along the trailer.

This innovative tarping system is faster and safer for drivers and provides better protection for transporting steel, lumber, machinery, building products and produce. The versatility of the Conestoga 2 also increases profits by allowing drivers to spend more time on the road and increasing their backhaul options.

Conestoga 2 features Aero's patented wheel and track system, a new bulkhead, a streamlined tarp, improved upflift bows and redesigned front and rear locks to make the system the most innovative tarping solution on the road today!

The bulkhead on the Conestoga 2 has been redesigned to provide a more aerodynamic look, with sleek lines and a smooth front cap. It's also the first in the industry to include marker lights, improving visibility for nighttime driving.

The Conestoga 2 bulkhead also provides safety and convenience, with a DOT rating of 50,000 pounds and a non-DOT model with access door is also available.

Conestoga 2 continues Aero's tradition of providing high-quality tarping solutions with a strong, coated vinyl tarp that has been redesigned to work without cables and provide a tighter, seamless look. The Conestoga 2 is available in a variety of standard colors and may also be ordered with customized designs.

A major innovation on Conestoga 2 is Aero's patented spring shocks on the system's uplift bows. The new system reduces vibration from road conditions, keeping the tarp tight and reducing wear on the uplift bows.

Conestoga 2 is available with standard double uplift bows that have 8" to 10" sag when the tarp is open. Optional quad uplift bows reduce sag to 3" — 4" and provide greater clearance for the load.

A redesigned front lock on the Conestoga 2 is stronger and easier to use. The hook and pin catch is securely fastened by a one-piece ratchet handle that simply turns one way to lock and the other way to open.

Front and rear locks operate in all kinds of weather without lubrication or adjustment and require little maintenance.

The sturdy rear locks on the Conestoga 2 work to increase the tarp's tension while securing the load. Contained in the rear bow, they allow for full deck clearance and ground-level operation. Options on the Conestoga 2 include a standard rear curtain.
